How to Repair Xbox 360 in Only 30 Minutes

By Roy Gumble

According to the results of recent market research, approximately 30% of consumers who have purchased Xbox 360 in the past, experience what's known as "red light errors", so if you experience this problem, you're from being alone. While the phenomenon is entirely the result of a manufacturing error, there are ways to repair Xbox 360 and that's what we're going to be looking at in this article.

Types of Xbox Errors

For the most part, the type of error occurring can be determined by the amount of red lights which appear on the actual console.

? 1 red light: Means that your Xbox is experiencing general hardware failure.

? 2 red lights: Means that the internal component of your Xbox are overheating. Shut down your system right away to prevent further damage.

? 3 red lights: otherwise known as "the red ring of death". See below for a discussion of how to fix this problem.

? 4 red lights: means that the AV cable in your Xbox has become lose. Verify to see if the connection is secure and if necessary replace the cable.

What Causes 1 and 3 Red Light Errors

There can be any number of causes for 1 and 3 red light errors but the most common causes are a loose GPU resulting from the cold-soldering. The second and related cause is overheating from the motherboard. This can be caused by a malfunctioning cooling system. Heat sinks, vans and vents all work together to cool down your console.

Repairing Xbox red light errors

The chances are you're keen to know how to repair Xbox 360, now that we've discussed the various error states. When you bought your console, it would have come with a 90 day warranty so if this has not yet expired, then return the console to Microsoft.

The problem is that most Xbox owners do not want to return their Xbox because this will mean two unfortunate things: 1) you will lose access to your Xbox for 6-8 weeks; and 2) you will have to pay $140 repair bill along with shipping and handling charges.

If you simply can't wait for repairs to be carried out, you could of course attempt to repair Xbox 360 yourself but be warned, this approach should only be taken by those who are familiar with electronics and remember, handle everything with extreme care because the internal parts of consoles are notoriously fragile.

Fortunately, there are now extremely easy to use guides that will repair Xbox 360. These guides can downloaded from your PC and only cost about $25. They come with instructional videos for every different type of Xbox error and a 100% money back guarantee. Following these instructional videos should only take you about 30 minutes to repair any type of Xbox error. - 18308

Interesting Sights at Craft Fairs

By Geoffrey Higgins

I went around the fair today to check out some of the other booths. I think I deserve it; me and my girlfriend had a very successful week at the fair, in that the jewelry she and I had made were almost sold out.

Sometimes, you just have to walk around to appreciate the nice things in life. It was anything but quiet in the fair; there was activity all around. There's the occasional love struck teenage couple, enjoying a stick of cotton candy. There's the family moving about, with the siblings talking back at each other until their father tells me off. And of course, there are the rides, always the center of attention in fairs.

Aside from these, you can also find quite a number of booths sprinkled all over the fair. Many people had set up a booth, too, and were peddling their wares all throughout the venue. Intrigued, I thought to go up to them and check out the "competition".

There sure were a lot of interesting things for sale around the fair, but I was more interested with the people doing the selling. I like to try and chat up the people in charge of the booths who were selling trinkets in the same vein we were; comparing notes without being too intrusive. But, I found out very quickly that most of the people minding those booths weren't much fun to talk to. As it happened, they were just bored hired helps.

I did get interested in one particular booth. It had two women minding it, and the first thing I noticed was that they had these amazing wood carved sculptures on display. I saw one of the women behind the counter, intently focused on a piece of wood she was carving with a curved knife. Her friend saw I was interested and called out, asking if I wanted my portrait drawn in charcoal (for a price, of course). I was interested, so I told her I'd be back after I've picked up my girlfriend so we could have a drawing together.

All in all, there are many types of people in fairs and festivals. There is never a dull day in this line of work, and I'm glad I quit my day job for this. - 18308

CraftShow Tips and Tricks

By Sam Weyland

Known as the Sunshine State, Florida is one of the few warm, tropical places in the United States. The atmosphere is sunny with the numerous fairs and festivals that happen all year round. Aside from the regular annual and biannual events, there are a few clandestine organizers that struggle in their first year. To many craftspeople, this is the place to earn a little extra income.

Chances are, you're one of these people. I applaud your notion of making a few extra dollars from selling the items that you make. However, you will need a booth, as well as the ability to attract potential buyers to it. The next few paragraphs will talk about tips I've gotten from a few "fair regulars":

Spruce up your booth: Having fabulous craftworks is only half of the deal. You won't be attracting customers if all you do is spread them on a dull table. You're selling art. Make the booth attractive enough to catch would-be buyers' eyes from a distance. Something as simple as a colorful cloth to spread out your wares on or a banner on top of your booth will be a big thing. If you're selling food and beverages, a dumpster right next to you will certainly not help any. Make sure you clean up your area, too.

*Talk, not intimidate: Basically, your crafts will not sell themselves. Make it an effort to go around your booth and talk to potential customers about your creations. Tell them why they're special, but remember to not ply them with too much information. Be casual! If you notice someone having doubts, try offering them a similar items they might be interested in.

Be prepared for ill weather: We may be the Sunshine State, but a tropical area also receives its fair share of rainfall. And if you've been in Florida long enough, you know that you will never be able to predict when it will drop. Have some thick plastic sheets ready to cover your crafts in the event of a rain, and have some heavy objects as well so they don't fly away. And do bring an umbrella for yourself as well! We don't want you sick, now.

Lastly, don't overdo it: Don't cram so much paraphernalia on your booth that your crafts get lost. Don't talk so much you forget to listen to your customers' concerns. And don't bring so much anti-rain equipment, you don't bring enough of what you're planning to sell. - 18308

If you want to learn piano learn the basics

By Bryan Smith

I meet folks all the time who need to play the piano so badly. Customarily they are newbies but occasionally they are people who have not played in years and just need to start again. When I see them a pair months later, you would think the piano was their kryptonite.

It's dazzling to me the way in which the same person might be so happy about something and a pair months later not desiring anything to do with the same. When you ask them what occurred, they customarily say they became bored.

Did they are expecting to just magically start knowing what to do? They most likely predicted everything to be as straightforward as pie. Becoming better at playing the piano takes time.

You can not expect to start playing impressive pieces on the piano when you can hardly play a chord. Many folks think that they can just "wing it" on the piano.

By learning these things, you are at an advantage when it comes time to learn the more difficult things.

You do not need to be an one dimensional piano player. By learning these things, you are at an advantage when it comes time to learn the more tough things. I am not talking about bi-daily or fifteen minute daily.

Even if you assert you're busy, there are too many hours in a day not to have forty five mins open. Your piano abilities will be fantastically influenced by your decision to make practice time. - 18308

Covert Cameras

By Charlie Reese

I have always liked spy toys, but covert cameras have always been my favorite. There is something about a hidden camera that is just so captivating to anyone who grew up during the Cold War. Nowadays, photographic evidence doesn't mean quite as much as it used to " photos can be convincingly doctored " but there was a time when a picture was the most definite kind of proof you could get.

Covert surveillance cameras were the best weapon of law enforcement to catch dangerous fugitives or intercept spies in the midst of their dirty deeds. A covert camera could be used to bring back nuclear secrets from Russia or provide convincing evidence that a prisoner of war was still alive after being held for months.

Although some of the glamor around covert cameras has died down, the cameras themselves are better than ever. Things which were unthinkable or at least difficult to imagine 20 years ago are now a part of every day reality. You can have cameras the size of a tie pin that can get reasonably good resolution " at least at close range. Slightly larger covert cameras can be smuggled around as lipstick, pens, or flashlights. You could even hide one in your shoe if you wanted to. Even video cameras can be made pretty tiny. I have seen covert cameras small enough to fit on a small radio controlled airplane. With the impressive mini cameras available on the consumer market, who knows what the government can do.

Of course miniaturization isn't everything nowadays. We've proven that we can get covert cameras very small, but sometimes a much more normally sized camera will do quite well. A hidden camera doesn't need to be particularly tiny if you can conceal it properly. Through camouflage, skillful placement, and proper lighting, a fairly large covert camera can go undetected for months or even years.

Even so, to me there is nothing more secure than a covert camera hidden in plain sight. Covert cameras can be disguised as pretty much anything. Your camera could be a pack of cigarettes, your lighter, or even the frame on the side of your glasses. The last one is worthy of consideration because it provides a very convenient way to aim the camera. If you can take a picture just by looking at something, your secret spying is likely to go completely unnoticed. Despite the fact that these secret cameras don't always work as well as in the movies, quite often they give you uncanny good results. It's all a matter of picking out the right gear, positioning it in the right way, and making sure you have the one thing that cameras will always need " light. - 18308

See the World with Free TV on PC

By Ashley Patrick

There is a continuous increase in the number of people getting acquainted with the fact that they, too, can own a free TV on PC with only a minimal one-time fee. This means that it is not necessary to pay the monthly subscription fee to satellite TV or cable companies. Technology has led us to using our computers as televisions as well. Besides the ease of downloading and installing of the software, it is not even required to buy new hardware equipment.

As we all know, you will have to pay monthly with a cable TV or a satellite TV. The basic pay can already be as high as $40. If you add more channels to the regular package, your monthly bill can go as high as $100. This amount is just absurd! Before, without this service, you will be stuck with only a few channels from your local TV stations.

This fact has changed over the years as well. Modern technology is now allowing you to gain access to a wide variety of channels through the use of your home computer. The basic requirement is a computer with a connection to the internet. This means that you no longer need to write a check to the cable company because that is just a waste of money. Although some may have the luxury to burn money, most of us can not just do that.

Doing away with the monthly subscription does not imply that you no longer have a variety of channels to choose from. In contrary, your computer cum television allows for more choices than what you have with your cable TV. Be it a love story filmed in France, or a boxing match live from Mexico, you will have the opportunity to watch it with your computer.

Sports fanatics are delighted with free TV on PC. Is it a prestigious soccer game up north? Or is it a semi-final basketball game down south? Name it and the satellite TV on PC definitely has it. What adds to the good news is that there is no need to pay extra in order to watch these events unlike that of pay per view.

Film lovers are just as delighted with the television on the computer. Your computer now becomes a home movie theater. Countless movies are aired 24 by 7. Those who love foreign movies are also thrilled. Suddenly, your only problem is what to actually watch.

There is another thing you can do; connect your PC to a state-of-the-art TV. This is another way to still get that usual experience you have always had. You can also do this through crystal clear TV. However, you no longer have monthly bills to pay. The TV you have at home becomes a window to the world.

Get your free TV on PC now and save money that will last you a lifetime. - 18308
